fridge is... ...like being at your mate's house ...no pressure ...no hassle ...a place for relaxed fun, chatting - and listening fridge...you make it what it is fridge is a club for young people aged 10-13 (school years 6-8). As part of the developing programme at Barnt Green Baptist Church, it is open to all young people, whether or not they attend any church. fridge is not a youth club in the traditional sense. Instead it aims to provide a relaxed environment for sitting, chatting and fun. The first bunch of young people who went along described it as "like being at your mate's house". The fridge programme reflects this relaxed atmosphere where young people are encouraged to be themselves. The Christian ethos of the club is plain for all to see but this is always within the context of encouraging young people to make their own choices and be honest about what they really think.
