Community

A number of groups from the community use the church building during the week. Quite often some of our own members participate or lead these but they do not directly represent the church or its views.

Barnt Green Playgroup runs during the day from Monday to Thursday. Ros Gompertz is the chair of the committee that runs the group and she can be contacted on 0121 445 6814.

Magic Moments After School Club runs every school day from 3 until 6. This is part of the Magic Moments Childcare so details are available on their administration number, 0121 445 6708. The club extends in the school holidays to all-day sessions.

Divorce Recovery Workshop (DRW) is a support group for people coming to terms with a broken relationship. The evening course runs over 6 weeks and there are usually more than one a year. Heidi Twilley (0121 445 4396) is the contact person for the group.

A Baby Clinic, part of the Worcestershire Primary Care Trust, meets on Mondays, 11 am - 12:30 pm. Contact Wendy Taylor (Health Visitor) or Denise Baylis on 01527 488323.

Focus on Fitness for Females over Forty! Stretch, tone and tighten every Wednesday evening for an hour from 6:45. The session is for all abilities - only enthusiasm is required. Speak to Sue on 0121 428 1165.
