Also, we will be having a barbeque on Saturday September 17th at church at 6pm. Please let me know if you are able to come and meet with them so I can sort out the food.

It’s that time of year when we find that we’re having to put the lights on when we get up in the morning, the days aren’t so warm as they used to be and we’ll need to consider getting the woollens out of storage – unless you’re me of course, who never puts them away !!! On the plus side though – Wednesday worship services are returning and we thought you might like a reminder of the dates (the first Wednesday of each month):

  • 4th September
  • 5th October
  • 2nd November
  • 7th December

The general aim is that the services are a place where ‘God can’; a time when we can set aside an hour or so to worship Him and listen for His voice. They have a much shorter talk than a Sunday service and have more time for communion; sometimes more times of quiet, sometimes times of extended worship.
